In the eleventh century the Lao arrived from China.

forced the Khamu out of the fertile lowlands and into the mountains.
The languid style of Khamu life, cannot hide the governmental oppression.

Khamu village is a 25 minutes during -non-spoken- documentairy about the life of a small population in Laos. The film was presented at the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht.
